The SSBL teams continue to grow. We are expecting at least one new 40+ team this year. We also anticipate 20+ new players coming into the league this season. The 2024 season saw the SSBL host 11 teams in the 25+ division and 4 in the 40+ division.
A reminder that the two ways our league grows is with the addition of a totally new team,or when a group of players from one or more teams splinter off and begin a new team. If you are contemplating starting a new team for the 2025 season, in either division, please use me as a reference and I will be happy to help guide you through the administrative process.
Our 25+ division will play a 20-game season, normally playing two games per week: One game on Sunday and one weekday evening game either on Mon, Tue, Wed, Thr, or Fri. The season will culminate with a double-elimination tournament at the end of the season.
Our 40+ division will play a 20-game season, playing a single game during the week, on Tuesday or Thursday night and an additional game on Sunday. Our 40+ division will also play teams in a sister organization and end the season with a double elimination tournament.
Our Rainout games that occur during the week are played on Saturdays.
LIABILITY WAIVERS!!!
For 2025, our league will again utilize an online process to execute REQUIRED Liability Waivers. Every player in the league (returning player or new player) is required to complete an online waiver before participating in any SSBL event. The waiver can be accessed through the following link:
